Another presidential candidate has secured space as an Iowa campaign headquarters. Pennsylvania’s Rick Santorum has set up shop in Urbandale, he told The Des Moines Register this morning. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon this Saturday, according to his campaign staff. Santorum’s office is at 11306 Aurora Ave. in Urbandale in the Aurora business park. Republicans Tim Pawlenty and Ron Paul also have Iowa headquarters. Read More

SOMERSET, Pa. — Declaring himself "ready to lead," former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum formally announced his candidacy for president Monday morning. At a gathering of supporters yesterday on the Somerset County courthouse steps, Santorum announced that he is "ready to lead," officially launching his campaign for the presidency. Santorum delivered a fifteen minute speech, during which he criticized President Obama for taking the, "faith that the American public gave him and wrecking the economy and centralizing power in Washington, D.C."
