I put a lot of thought in who I was going to support on January 3rd when we have our Iowa Caucus.  Eliminating who I wasn’t going to vote for was a lot easier than making my final decision after narrowing it down to four.

Des Moines, Iowa – Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum was the fourth speaker at the Reagan Dinner held at Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines Friday night.

Santorum has spent a large amount of his campaign time in the State of Iowa since announcing his run for the Presidency. “It is great I would say to be back in Iowa, but I’ve been here a little while. This is my 8th straight day in the State of Iowa and I am proud to announce that I did a Grassley. I’ve been to all 99 counties in the State of Iowa and I tell you I had a wonderful time doing it.”

As far as endorsements go, Chuck Laudner’s name is not found on many lists of “must have” endorsements for the Iowa caucuses.  Those lists are usually limited to elected officials like Congressman Steve King, influential social conservative leaders life Bob Vander Plaats, or high-profile community leaders.

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum will deliver a series of three “major policy speeches” beginning Friday in Iowa, his campaign said Thursday, focusing on a wide variety of issues that other candidates have rarely addressed.

The first speech is called “Moral, Cultural Policies for a Santorum White House,” and “will focus on returning to traditional American values of faith and family,” Santorum communications director Hogan Gidley said in an email.
